Words of Wonders
Your goal is to fill the crossword puzzle on the left side of the screen with words! On the right side of the screen is a set of letters. Click on one letter and drag your mouse to connect other letters and form a word. Release to submit the word. You can click on the shuffle button in the middle of the letters to rearrange them.
Solve puzzles to open gifts that contain gems. You can use these gems for upgrades. You can use 200 gems to guess a letter by clicking on the hammer icon. If you get stuck on making a new word, click on the lightbulb to get a hint. You can earn more gems by spinning the rainbow wheel. Look for it in the upper left corner of the screen.
If you make a valid word but it’s not part of the crossword puzzle, they are bonus words. If you collect enough bonus words, you can get a reward!
Words of Wonders Tips
Like many other word games, Words of Wonders can be a bit tricky to get at first. However, you don’t need an expansive vocabulary to be successful in this game – although that certainly doesn’t hurt.
Look at the crossword
Once you complete a word, it will be placed into the crossword on the screen. Use this crossword to your advantage. A lot of the time, it will give you useful information on what a word will either begin or end with. When you are stuck on a word, any hint is worth a lot.
Get creative
Sometimes there might be a word on the list that you just don’t know. In these instances, it’s important to think about general word structures. There are no penalties for guessing, so just try inputting combinations that sound like they could be words.
Use your gifts
If you continue to guess and just can’t seem to make any headway, remember that there are always resources that you can use to get further in Words of Wonders. For example, you can use the light bulb to unlock a random letter in the crossword puzzle.
The hammer is another resource that you can use. While it costs more gems, it will unlock any letter you choose in the crossword. Simply trade in 200 gems and click on the tile that you would like to be revealed.
Spin the wheel
While hammers and light bulbs are great, they can run out quickly. Make sure that you spin the wheel every day to get more gems. If you really need a hint and run out of gems, you can always watch a video to spin the wheel again.
